Once thought of as just for kitchens, built in cabinets are becoming more popular throughout the entire home. The sturdy, customizable cabinets provide a more stable storage option than free-standing shelves, bookcases and cabinets, while offering unlimited design options.
Using built in cabinets in the living room, den or family room provides advantages not realized by standard shelves or entertainment centers. As modern technology has progressed, the need for traditional entertainment centers has gone by the wayside. Modern televisions feature a slim design that can be discreetly mounted on the wall, freeing up floor space and providing more livable area in the home.
