We are so thrilled with the work that JJ&K performed at our home.

An extensive custom built fence and pagoda were built in our garden with precision.  We were very impressed with the exacting detail of their work and the care they took to preserve our garden plants in the process.

The office staff was courteous and thorough and the carpenters who performed the work were excellent.  We felt that their price was fair for an excellent project.  All in all, a good value!

For those of you looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient contractor in the Leesburg, Ashburn, or anywhere in the Northern Virginia area that has the experience to do your home repairs or make your remodeling dreams come to life, I'd like to share my experience with JJ&K's Paint and Remodeling. I was in need of a variety of household repairs and improvements and was hoping to find one contractor who could do ALL of the work at a reasonable price, be easy to work with, do a good job, and complete it in a timely fashion... My experience with JJ&K's was [excellent]. After calling to inquire about getting an estimate, Mr. Powell came out the very next day and walked through my home, taking notes and appraising the work to be done. He gave me a written estimate and offered me different options about what work should absolutely be done, and what work I might be able to postpone or do myself. His prices were very fair and reasonable. I was also delighted at the speed at which they accomplished the work. I didn't have to wait more than a week before they fit me into their schedule, and I was amazed when the team of workers Mr. Powell sent completed both the interior paint job (which included my living room and a stairwell with a very high cathedral ceiling) and the exterior painting of my shutters and door all in less than a full day. The work was excellent, and they were very conscientious about cleaning up afterwards. Indeed, a neighbor a few doors away used a different contractor to paint their exterior trim and shutters and door, and the person was there for 3 days doing their house!

I've also used JJ&K's to do plumbing repairs and was delighted with the fast, courteous service I received. They zeroed right in on where my leaks were coming from and made the necessary repairs, including replacing the drywall. Their drywall work is also excellent.

Most recently I've requested an estimate on redoing my baths and kitchen, my gutters, and doing some minor remodeling, and once again I was very pleased with the price quotes and the ideas that Mr. Powell gave me. I have complete confidence in his work and know that he will not leave the job until he's certain his client is satisfied. He and his workers are always courteous and pleasant and I cannot imagine having anyone else do my home repairs or remodeling.

Basement Remodeling

We saw JJ&K's truck in front of our neighbor's house last summer just as we were getting quotes to finish our basement. We asked one of the workmen if they finished basements, and they said they did. We called John and he came to walk through the basement and gave us some great recommendations. We received other estimates from contractors that were located in Centreville, Sterling and Herndon, Virginia but none could beat John's estimate. Located in Northern Virginia, JJ&K started in a few days of providing the estimate. We were completely surprised at how quick and efficient the workmen were.

The basement included a wet bar with granite counter tops, a full bathroom with a tiled shower, and a large bedroom and walk-in closet. As the project progressed, we realized we needed other projects completed that John said they could do. We added two more remodeling projects - a major renovation of our front porch and painting the garage, which was in addition to getting our basement finished. All were completed perfectly. JJ&K's workmen are the highest quality we have ever seen. They pride themselves in providing a top quality job. We highly recommend JJ&K as a contractor for any and all home needs. Kitchen Remodeling and Bathroom Remodeling

I am writing this letter to express my pleasure with the quality of work completed by the staff at JJ&K Remodeling. We hired them to do a complete renovation of our kitchen as well as one bathroom. Kitchen Remodeling and Bathroom Remodeling

I heard about JJ&K through a co worker who had her kitchen remodeled. She was very pleased with their work. So I hired them to renovate the kitchen with new granite countertops and a new set of lights. I also wanted the bathroom shower removed and replaced. JJ&K presented a good proposal and proceeded to perform the work as agreed. All of the people sent by JJ&K, to install the granite counter tops, the tile and glass shower doors were a pleasure to deal with. I was very pleased with the plumbing and electrical work they performed.

Our shower turned out beautiful. We had the old 3ft X 3ft shower removed and replaced with a 6ft by 3 ft shower tiled to the ceiling. The tile is beautiful. I would recommend JJ&K for any home improvement project. Thank you JJ&K for a job well done. Our home looks a lot better.
